The video does not prove that her actions represent a negative pattern of our belief in Celestial Church of Christ; We await a well-coordinated apology from Angela Ndah for altering a false narrative about CCC Overcomes Parish, Ajah, Lagos, including the destroyed character of V/S/E James Aso, a well-respected shepherd in our church. In view of the fact that a statement of apology would not be able to rebuild the burned parish or recover all of the parish’s property, it is impossible to ignore the fabricated damages that resulted from the attack. The church was attacked by an unbeliever who took advantage of the opportunity as the case may be.
Since the Nigerian Police has opened an investigation into this matter, we will advise the church authority to allow the relevant security agency to fulfill its constitutional obligations regarding the unprovoked attack on members of the parish. However some members felt dissatisfied with the context of her apology, some members strongly condemned the unnecessary words used in the short video while those members also asked for her arrest toward defaming the church image.
We sincerely appreciate the unwavering commitment of our members, who have dedicated their time to defend the integrity of the Church against injustices leveled at us. We salute their courage, solidarity and togetherness, regardless of faction instilled in us by the selfish interests of some selected few Elders.
