MAMA RAINBOW GRACED CCC COVENANT OF GOD PARISH WITH HER JOYFUL PRESENCE.

On the 13th of August 2023, Celestial Church of Christ Covenant of God Parish, located at No 12 St. Aubyn’s Road, Crystal Palace, London, SE 19 3AD, had the honor of welcoming the renowned veteran film artist, Ma Idowu Phillips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow to their Parish.

At 81 years old, Mama Rainbow joined the congregation of the Parish  embracing the spirit of togetherness. As a member of C&S and someone familiar with Celestial Church, she wholeheartedly participated in the Church’s doctrinal practices. During her visit, Mama Rainbow expressed her deep affection for the Church and highlighted the exceptional qualities of AVSE John Maforikan, the Parish Shepherd  who possesses a God-given instinct and consistently preaches peace.

Mama Rainbow’s presence brought immense joy to the Parish as her illustrious career and dedication to her craft have made her a beloved figure in the film industry. Her visit served as a reminder of the unity and harmony that can be found within Celestial Church of Christ.

During the rhythmic gymnastics performance by the choir, Mama Rainbow delivered a heartfelt word of encouragement to the members. She urged them to worship God with complete submission and to remain focused on their mission in the western world. Mama Rainbow expressed her desire to visit the Parish in the United Kingdom, as she had heard about it during her time in Nigeria. She made a public declaration that whenever she visits the UK, she will continue to worship at CCC Covenant of God Parish.

In response, AVSE John Maforikan emphasized the importance of emulating Mama Rainbow’s exemplary lifestyle. He prayed for her, asking God to continue using her as a vessel in the Church. As a token of appreciation, a special presentation was made to Mama Rainbow from the parish, honoring her for her associates with CCC Covenant of God Parish.

The Parish  under the guidance of AVSE John Maforikan, continues to thrive as a place of worship and spiritual growth. With Mama Rainbow’s visit, the congregation was inspired and uplifted, further strengthening their faith and commitment to the Church’s teachings.
