It is an undeniable truth that the restoration of peace within the Church will inevitably result in the displacement of certain individuals who have wielded authority for their own personal gain. These individuals driven by their negative agenda, insist that the Church must remain divided in order to preserve their own interests.
The reestablished relationship between VSE Olorunnisola and the Pastor has been met with skepticism by those who believe that the Pastor should have maintained his distance from VSE Olorunnisola. The aftermath of the 2021 crisis has left the Church in a state that was never intended by God. It is a state of directionless, where even the Elders are unable to discern the next step.
The Pastor's visitation to the USA has been successful ever since he delivered his welcome speech in a video that went viral on various social media platforms. In the video, the Pastor explained his position and also shed light on the nightmare he experienced during the unrest that erupted when he dissolved the leadership of VSE Olorunnisola.
Before his trip to the USA, the Pastor acknowledged the need for a restructuring of the Church administration and appointed MSE Olarinde to oversee the plan. Additionally, the Pastor recognized the importance of seeking peace and reconciliation with the BOT, prompting his lawyer to write to the Judge presiding over the case at the Federal High Court in Lagos requesting assistance in finding a mediator for settlement.
These actions compelled the Pastor to extend his hand of reconciliation to VSE Olorunnisola when he accepted an invitation to visit the USA. Rumors have circulated that AVSE Benjamin Oshoffa was primarily responsible for inviting the Pastor to the USA for his harvest before the Pastor accept to meet with VSE Olorunnisola. The reappearance of VSE Olorunnisola has caused some individuals to lose sleep, questioning why the Pastor would associate with him. This reaction has resulted in a series of social media attacks on followers of VSE Olorunnisola, who have remained loyal to him.
An unidentified individual on social media platform has been targeting shepherds in Region C, particularly Sup Evang Awosika and Sup Evang Amos Adeoye. These attacks stem from the success of the Pastor’s trip to Region C and his willingness to reconcile with all parties involved.
The 7-point agenda of 2021 has been justified by the current situation within the Church. During the unrest, VSE Olorunnisola did not call for the removal of the Pastor, but rather expressed his dissatisfaction with the mode of transmission in terms of the administration and management of the Church. However, the Pastor held a different perspective. This raises the question: “Have we seen improvements in our administration since 2021?”
Why did the Pastor seek out of court settlement? Why did the Pastor approve the restructuring of the Church? The actions taken by the Pastor have justified the 7-point agenda of 2021. The fact that VSE Olorunnisola, Sup Evang Awosika, and Sup Evang Amos Adeoye & others knelt down before the Pastor should not generate negative stereotypes or reactions from any party. These members did not call for the removal of the Pastor, but rather expressed their observations when the Pastor dissolved the registered BOT.
It is on record that the Pastor and his aides paid a visit to Sup Evang J.O Omotosho in his Parish in Lagos, despite the fact that Sup Evang Omotosho had a case with the Pastor in court. Why did those who oppose peace not condemn the Pastor at that time, but instead chose to attack VSE Olorunnisola and his aides?
As Christians, we cannot continue to perpetuate negativity when we know the truth. The Pastor’s actions to rebuild a strong bond with VSE Olorunnisola are highly commendable, and we eagerly await the extension to the registered BOT of the Church. It is imperative that VSE Olorunnisola focuses on the assignment that God wants to use him for. We cannot continue to follow the path of misguided individuals who prioritize their own interests above the collective interest of the Church.
