Then Evangelist BADA who was nearby drew my attention to a new- soft white cotton material which was wrapped round the altar for the Harvest the previous Sunday. Then our Lord cut in and said: ‘Yes, that will be big enough to wrap’ round me from head to toe’. Whereupon I went into the, Church, removed it from the altar, folded it, wrapped it in paper and brought it to HIM. He said: ‘Yes, this is my own portion (share) of this year’s Harvest’.
Evangelist BADA, who remained present throughout, then rejoined: ‘Who can fail to see the glory of this sunshine?’ To which our Lord replied in surprise: ‘What?’ Then, BADA repeated: ‘FATHER, who can fail to set the glory of this blissful sunshine?’ Then our Lord chanted: “Halleluyah seven times.
During the process of documenting the Church History/Constitution, Pastor Founder Papa SBJ Oshoffa recognized the significant impact of late Baba Bada. The Pastor Founder explained how Baba Bada supported him in the early stages of the Church. Papa SBJ Oshoffa entrusted the Church structure to Baba Bada, valuing his opinion in making important decisions.
From 1952 to 1985 (33 years), there were no reported disputes between the Pastor Founder and Baba Bada. They never publicly exchanged harsh words, and Baba Bada always followed his boss’s instructions. To demonstrate the deep love between these two servants of God, the Pastor Founder elevated Baba Bada to the rank of “Supreme Evangelist” a title exclusively bestowed upon him.
From 1952 to 2000, Late Rev AA Bada faithfully followed the path illuminated by the divine instructions of Late Rev Prophet Pastor SBJ Oshoffa. He served with unwavering attention and commitment, earning commendation throughout parishes in Celestial Church of Christ.
Following the untimely demise of Late Rev AA Bada, Maria Gbemisola Bada, one of his children, was deeply affected by the shocking news, she struggled to come to terms with the sudden loss of her father, who tragically passed away during a Pastoral visit to Celestial members in the United Kingdom. The aftermath of Baba Bada’s passing continues to cast a long shadow over Maria Gbemisola Bada’s daily life. She has been diagnosed with a debilitating illness that has derailed her life’s journey, causing immense suffering not only for her but also for her siblings. The family has spared expense in their efforts to restore her to good health.
Recently, an online campaign has been launched to raise much-needed financial assistance for Maria. However, this initiative has sparked a heated debate among Celestial members who question the necessity for Baba Bada’s children to seek funds online, given their father’s unwavering dedication to the Church.
The question regarding the Church’s authority failure to respond has remained unanswered for the past 23 years, failing to accurately represent the perspective of those who have dedicated themselves to the Church’s growth. In light of this, the family of late Rev AA Bada has released a list of parishes and individuals who have generously offered their assistance during this challenging time.
It is now imperative for the Pastor to promptly arrange a meeting with the children of Late Baba Bada to initiate the process of thoroughly assessing Maria Gbemisola Bada’s situation. Furthermore, the Pastor should strive to establish a nurturing relationship with the Ajankoko children’s and other children’s of the esteemed shepherds in the Church who are experiencing discomfort due to the theory of negligence.
