PRESS RELEASE.
OUR STAND! OUR POSITION.
Having read the press release made by Sup. Evang. Ajala purportedly on behalf of the Pastor, we, the Concerned Shepherds/Church Workers of the UK Diocese wish to present a clear and compelling statement to the entire member of Celestial Church of Christ in United Kingdom, elders and all stake holders of the Church worldwide regarding the said recent Press Statement.
On the 14th of September, 2023, we communicated with Celestial members worldwide regarding our discussion with His Eminence Rev Pastor EMF Oshoffa. The content of which is presently in the public domain. Albeit it’s not in our character to start exchanging words or to respond to every press releases regarding the establishment of The Concern Shepherds and Church Workers here in UK, however we wish to state emphatically and unequivocally to C.C.C members worldwide that we, the Concerned Shepherds/Church Workers of the UK Diocese will not succumb to any blackmailing, bullying, harassment, castigation, incitement, discrimination and campaign of calumny from M/S/E/ Amos Fatusin’s stooges and rabble-rousers to retract, jettison, ditch or turn back on our desire for independent from a Sanni Abacha lead style of administration which is caustically embedded with nepotism, maladministration, hatred, unforgiveness, favouritism, bulling, and above all, incitement of shepherds against shepherds.
Let it be known to the whole world that the Concerned Shepherds/Church Workers of the UK Diocese didn’t just arose because we wanted to destabilise the administration of M/S/E Fatusin. No, not all. The whole thing came about when in April this year, M/S/E/ Fatusin illegally and single handedly removed and or downgraded some members of the Executive Governing Council of CCC UK Diocese without any written offence committed by any of the officers involved. Their names were also deleted from the Harvest Template within impunity on the order of M/S/E Fatusin. All attempts to let the Pastor know what was happening was futile because M/S/E Fatusin knew how to manoeuvre his ways in and around the Pastor and nothing was done about it.
Back in UK, the issue generated a lot of furores and with pressure from various quarters, M/S/E/ Fatusin initiated a (paper tiger) peace and reconciliation committee lead by V/S/E/ Adepetun (aka Father) who in his report recommended that the HOD should allow the status-quo ante to remain. But M/S/E/ Fatusin refused to accept the recommendation. He reconstituted the Executive Governing Council of CCC UK Diocese with 35 members. HOW MANY OF THEM ARE SHEPHERDS? Your answer is as good as ours!!!
THE FACT
We accept the fact that our Pastor His Eminence Rev. E, M, F Oshoffa is empowered by CCC constitution to appoint who he wants as the HOD of any Diocese of CCC anywhere in the world, but then we also have the constitutional (Resolution 217A of UN Charter on human rights 1948 and UK Human Rights Acts 1998) and biblical (Matthew 5: 29-32) rights to associate and gather together with people of like minds. It’s our choice and rights to form the Concerned Shepherds/Church Workers of the UK Diocese under the UK laws and legislation. We have come to stay and there’s no going back. CCC is our heritage. It belongs to us all and we must not fold our arms and allow some nepotistic and egotistical chancers to take over and ruin what the Pastor Founder in tandem with the contributions of our great heroes past and present worked very hard to build, sustained and handed over to us.
WE HEREBY PUT C.C.C MEMBERS IN UK / WORLD-WIDE ON NOTICE THAT!!!:
1. We have resolved to go our separate ways from the administration of M/S/E/ Fatusin. We will appreciate our father the Pastor, Rev. E. M. F Oshoffa not to force us against our wish because we are fully ready (including legal and constitutionals means within UK laws) to defend our rights to have another Diocese of ours.
2. Our legal luminaries are on standby for any eventuality should we need to go the constitutional way. (We hope it will not get to that).
3. We will no longer respond to further Press Releases or comments from any quarter (including the Nigeria based self-appointed and one-sided M/S/E/ Fatusin’s international spoke person) regarding the formation of the Concerned Shepherds / Church Workers of the UK Diocese. We are determined to forge ahead with our pragmatic and people-oriented programmes for the empowerment and orientation of our members.
4. We will continue our operations as advised by the Pastor for the next 3 months after which we will announce to CCC members in UK and worldwide our administrative structure including immediate and remote developmental programmes.
5. We are for peace, progress, unity and stability of CCC in UK and worldwide.
6. We reaffirm our unalloyed loyalty to His Eminence, Pastor E.M.F Oschoffa, Pastor CCC Worldwide is unparallel and unstoppable.
Thank you for your attention and unwavering commitment to our shared mission.
Sincerely,
The Concerned Shepherds/Church Workers Celestial Church of Christ UK Diocese. London.
