In an effort to validate his beliefs, Pa SBJ Oshoffa instructed Late Rev Pastor A.A Bada (who was a LEADER at the time) to accompany a man named Halleluyah to his house. Their mission was to place one of Pa SBJ Oshoffa’s robes on a lifeless body and inform the family that if the body were to move, it should be brought to the Church. Halleluyah led the way, with Evangelist following closely behind.
Upon their return, Evangelist reported that he had successfully carried out Pa SBJ Oshoffa’s instructions. Astonishingly, the body was witnessed to turn over, despite its lifeless state. This extraordinary occurrence left everyone in awe. As a result, Pa SBJ Oshoffa requested that the body be respectfully placed in the Church vestry designated for women.
It is truly remarkable to reflect on the retention of the late Reverend Pastor Alexander Abiodun Bada, even after 23 years have passed. The event as documented in the Church Constitution, serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication and faith exhibited by Baba Bada.
The late Rev Bada was the second Nigerian to join Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria, following in the footsteps of the late Baba Ajanlekoko, who introduced Baba Bada to the CCC. It was Pa SBJ Oshoffa who mentioned Baba Bada’s name, testifying to his various testimonies and administrative contributions within the Church. Baba Bada served Pa SBJ Oshoffa with unwavering dedication, much like Elisha served Elijah. He upheld the Church’s ordinances with a steadfast commitment to the sustainability of our institution.
Today, the entire congregation of CCC join the family of Late Rev AA Bada in celebrating the life of this valiant soldier of Christ. We extend our heartfelt prayers to the family of the late Reverend Alexander Abiodun Bada, asking for God’s divine protection and comfort during this difficult time.
