However, the intoxication of power has unfortunately infiltrated the ranks of office holders in our Church, leading them to embarrass and intimidate other members in the Church, as well as anyone who dares to challenge their beliefs. This negative and ineffective behaviour seeped into the lieutenants who closely collaborated with our Church’s Pastor in Nigeria.
Undoubtedly, the cabals within the corridors of authority have consistently created an unfavourable environment for the Pastor to effectively manage the Church’s administration. Furthermore, these negative responses have continued to erode the foundational structure of our church.
One of the key individuals responsible for misrepresenting his duties is VSE Adjovi, the Task Force Chairman. His actions have altered the narrative of positivity within our Church’s administration, as he prioritises his personal interests over the well-being of Celestial Church of Christ in the United Kingdom in particular and other countries in general.
Last week, I reached out to VSE Adjovi on his mobile phone in order to address and correct his biased perspective of what the concerned shepherds and church workers stand for in this part of the world. He humbly apologised for not calling back as promised in June 2023 as I pointed out his lack of leadership in managing crisis within the United Kingdom. I proved it to him that he is one-sided in the ongoing hullabaloo in the UK Diocese, but he denied it.
I wish to shed light on the Task Force Chairman, who often speaks out of context through his press releases.
As far back as June 2023, the Concerned Shepherds and Church Workers UK Diocese sent a delegate to meet with the Pastor in Port-Novo to express their concerns about the way MSE Fatusin is running the Diocese. The Pastor then mentioned that he would ask VSE Adjovi to investigate the matter until he arrives in the UK in September this year.
Five members of the Concerned Shepherds later had detailed discussions with VSE Adjovi as directed by his Eminence. He promised to get back, but he never did. Until last week when he contacted VSE Olaleye pressurising him to instruct the concerned shepherds to retract their press release regarding the meeting held with the Pastor that stated the fact but to rewrite in a way favourable to him and his paymaster - MSE Fatusin. However, his suggestion was outrightly declined. Today, 20th September 2023, VSE Adjovi made a threat towards the concerned shepherds on the CCC Worldwide Blog, tagging them as false information carrier. His actions do not help the Church, and we will put a stop to it in this part of the world. Such a statement is direct and with intention to basically defame the good characters of honourable members of the concerned shepherds and Church Workers UK Diocese.
It is crucial for VSE Adjovi to understand that the United Kingdom operates under the rule of law, unlike Nigeria, where he vehemently disputed the harvest of CCC Ijeshaland - Osun state on 4th December 2022. For your information, I have been watching him with keen interest to find out who exactly he is and what he is made of. I am aware that the finding fact Panel, led by MSE Akindoyin, withheld their report, thereby preventing appropriate punishment for VSE Adjovi. VSE Adjovi should not exhibit the same disrespectful behaviour towards the Church’s tents and doctrinal practices as he has shown towards shepherds in Osun State. We will utilise British laws to rectify his opportunistic behaviour.
Also, during our annual convocation at Imeko, Ogun State, in December 2022, I had a discussion with VSE Adjovi in the presence of MSE Fatusin, the Task Force Chairman. openly admitted that his office has received numerous complaints regarding the authoritarian behaviour of MSE Fatusin. He confessed to having been concealing these petitions from seeing the light of the day. Surprisingly, MSE Fatusin remained silent throughout the discussion but gave signs to VSE Adjovi to keep silent, but he did not get the message.
You can imagine what the outcome of his investigation into this matter involving his pay master and the concerned shepherds/ church workers will be.
Five years ago, Nobody recognised or knew who VSE ADJOVI was in the hierarchy of CCC Worldwide. He cunningly exploited the dispute between the registered BOT and the Pastor to catapult himself into a position of power. Since then, he has shamelessly taken advantage of the broken system to amass wealth through questionable means.
The Pastor Founder established the Church with the primary objective of upholding the standards mandated by God. Furthermore, he provided guidelines to ensure that our activities as members of Celestial Church of Christ align with our beliefs. It is crucial to emphasise that section 158 of the Church Constitution explicitly empowers the Pastor in Council (MPIC), in which the Registered Trustees are automatically a member to address and resolve internal issues of this nature. Therefore, it is not within the purview of VSE Adjovi to disseminate fallacious statements.
I will advise VSE Adjovi to mind his utterances and have the better interest of our great Church at heart instead of things of the world that will parish with the world.
Peace of God to all peace lovers.
