Recently, the Imeko Convocation Committee has transformed the upcoming prayer gathering of the Church into a festive party by allowing musicians to bring their instruments. Unfortunately, the Committee has also made another error in appointing an individual who has been accused of removing his surname in every available document.
The omission of the surname of Superior Evangelist Ebenezer in any public event has turned into a topic of debate among members for many years, while this negative narrative once again brought to light the weaknesses in our investigation process before assigning someone to oversee a department in the Church.
Superior Evangelist Ebenezer, who has intentionally removed his surname from all documents has been announced as the Chairman of the Fundraising Committee (Diaspora) for the 2023 Imeko Convocation. This allegation of name removal raises concerns about the individual’s integrity when dealing with Celestial Church members in the diaspora, where members have consistently worked to fulfill their responsibilities.
It Is crucial that the Imeko Convocation Committee promptly discloses the full name of the individual in question to demonstrate the transparency of their decision-making process and to ensure that they are not accommodating someone who had refusal to attach his surname to all documents.
We kindly request that the Committee takes immediate action to address this matter and provide the necessary information to maintain the trust and integrity of Celestial Church of Christ.
