This was particularly evident in the life of Mother Celestial Olayinka Temidayo Olarewaju, the importance of Aunty Yinka cannot be overstated. She served as a shining example of loyalty and integrity, reflecting the true essence of human relationships.
On a specific Sunday, the 5th of March 2023, we bid farewell to a woman who embodied love and compassion for all, regardless of differences in beliefs, backgrounds or values. Her passing marked a somber occasion, known to us as Black Sunday, as we mourned the loss of Aunty Yinka, a figure of great influence and popularity.
The void left by Aunty Yinka’s departure was deeply felt, not only within the Church but also among her colleagues in the business world and her family members. Over a year, her absence has served as a poignant reminder of the values she instilled in us through her actions and words.
As we reflect on Aunty Yinka’s legacy as a philanthropist, we recognize that her generosity extended far beyond her immediate family. She did not limit her acts of kindness to those around her or to CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parishes alone. Instead, she exemplified a spirit of giving that transcended boundaries and touched the lives of many.
It Is evident that Aunty Yinka is a significant figure in the history of Celestial Church of Christ. She has dedicated herself to spreading the message of salvation and advocating for a church where members worship with respect, love and unity.
Aunty Yinka, your legacy will always be honored. You will be remembered for your integrity, your outspoken nature and your unwavering commitment to the church.
May you continue to rest in the loving hands of Christ until we meet again.
