During the visit, V/S/E Adebayo Temitope delivered a message of salvation on behalf of the Church’s Pastor, Rev EMF Oshoffa, to the King. He also expressed gratitude for the King’s unwavering support towards the Church.
Accompanied by other Elders of the Church in the town, such as A/V/S/E Josu Micheal, A/V/S/E Adepegba Adebayo, Sp/Sup/ Evang. Adejuwon, Sp/Sup/Evang. Folaju, Evang. Adedayo and M/C Oyeniyi. V/S/E Adebayo Temitope highlighted the importance of God, whom the Church has implemented and will continue to strengthen in spreading the message of God’s salvation in the town. He further explained that Celestial Church of Christ has over 200 parishes within the city’s jurisdiction, and the town has graciously allowed the Church to spread without any restrictions.
In similar vein, King Oba Adéyeyè Enitan Ògúnwùsì (Òjájá II) expressed his unwavering commitment to maintain an independent atmosphere for religious organizations within his kingdom, while also ensuring compliance with Government laws. He emphasized that Ile Ife, his kingdom is built on principles of love, respect and adherence to the law.Furthermore, the King extended his gratitude to Reverend EMF Oshoffa, the Church Pastor for consistently demonstrating a strong sense of spiritual instinct and for actively contributing to national unity and progress.
During the visit, the Commandant of Osun State NSCDC, Adaralewa, made a notable appearance. He reassured the Church of a robust security network, both within the town and beyond, to ensure their safety and protection.
The visit signifies the harmonious relationship between Celestial Church of Christ and the city of Ile Ife, and it further strengthens the bond between the Church and the community. The Church promised to remains committed to its mission of spreading the message of God’s salvation in the town and with the continued support of the Ooni of Ile Ife, this mission will thrive for years to come.
