The grace of Luli has been bestowed upon all who have embraced the teachings of Rev Prophet SBJ Oshoffa. Unfortunately, since the departure of the founding pastor in 1985, the church has found itself in a challenging situation.
The Church commemorated a significant day yesterday, May 23, 2024, marking 77 years since the appearance of God’s purpose to humanity. This day holds great importance for Celestial Church of Christ, as it signifies the covenant between God and His faithful servants.
During the era of Rev. AA Bada and the leadership of Rev. Agbaossi, the essence of the Church was highlighted and upheld by celebrating the Luli day in their respective jurisdiction, likewise those pastors diligently worshipped and abided by God’s instructions, maintaining the values of the Church.
However, it is disappointing to note that the focus of over 15 pastors who presently control their followers has shifted away from the primary objective of the Church. Instead of honoring the significance of the day with a Thanksgiving Service or a Press Statement, these factional pastors have allowed their personal agendas to overshadow the collective mission of the Church.
Despite the lack of acknowledgment from these pastors, we will continue to celebrate the 23rd of May each year. This day serves as a reminder of God’s choice to appoint dedicated servants who lead us on the path of righteousness and salvation.
We also humbly appeal to Mother Celestial Abioro to consider relaunching the Godrokpa trip, an event she has organized annually. While it is crucial that the Church’s leadership prioritizes the spiritual significance of this day, ensuring that the true essence of the Church is upheld.
