As the only surviving member of the first registered board of trustees, M/S/E Banjo took the opportunity to educate members who attended the seeker service about the history of our Church. He emphasized the importance of early day evangelism and how it led to quick results in spreading the message of deliverance and breakthrough to people’s doorsteps.
Banjo also highlighted the spiritual instinct of Pastor Founder Rev SBJ Oshoffa, who was specifically chosen by God to transform lives in a positive way. Most Superior Evangelist Olutunde Samson Banjo provided a detailed account of the early journey of the Pastor Founder within Celestial Church of Christ. He emphasized that in the first five years of his journey, Rev SBJ Oshoffa served as Evangelist but following some prophetic messages which wasn’t in alignment to God mandate for him. A powerful spiritual gifts were bestowed upon him, specifically in the realm of guiding and clarifying the tasks assigned to his assignment. M/S/E Banjo portrayed the Pastor Founder as a transformative and decisive figure chosen by God to bring liberation to the world.
M/S/E Banjo at CCC National Headquarters Makoko on the 29th of May 2024.Also, a clear explanation was given of another religious organization who held revival in Imeko in December 2023, the 91-year-old man reiterated that God had utilized Rev SBJ Oshoffa to expel demons from the city of Imeko over 40 years ago. He recounted how the Pastor Founder, along with other members including himself conducted a prayer procession around the city with fervent candlelit prayers, seeking divine intervention. He strongly denounced any claims made by religious organizations purporting to bring Jesus Christ to Imeko as misguided and inappropriate.
M/S/E Banjo concluded his enlightening discourse with a prayer for the entire congregation, underscoring the importance of faith and unity in the pursuit of spiritual growth.
