The agitation to rebuild the togetherness of Celestial Church of Christ Metropolitan Parish, Washington DC USA seem to be the concerned target of the parish Elders with other members from the parish. CCC Metropolitan Parish became a ringtone on various social media platform due to the action/inaction of the activities skyrocketing the peace of the parish. The parish currently operates as an Archdiocese which automatically transform the parish to be a sole proprietorship of the Pastor authority.
The parish as became a debatable topic on the lips of Celestian members throughout the world; for the past 12 months; the parish has diversion of interest; various march of interest as forced the parish to operate below her standard. Presently members of the parish worship with the fear of physical confrontation including the present of armed police officers to enforce laws on the parish members.
With all the negative stereotype of behavioral attitude rocking the parish; the Council of Elders as constantly admitted that the parish need to be reposition and transform to the primary purpose of God and to resume the assignment given to them as mouthpiece of gospel ministration. The Elders as adopted all available opportunity to strengthen the gospel of reconciliation and repositioning of all members in the parish.
The parish as publicly alleged the Head of Diocese of USA V/S/E Balogun as the major player disturbing the peaceful coexistence of the parish! The Elders shared the strong view that VSE Balogun never wanted peace at CCC Metropolitan Parish. It was also alleged also that the HOD failed to use his office to control some element in the parish attacking elders and other members on social media platform.
In a letter dated 23th of March 2023; the parish Elders officially informed A/V/S/E Adepoju; Shepherd of CCC Queen Parish, New York, USA to abort his plan visitation to their parish (CCC Metropolitan Parish) stated for 2nd of April 2023. The Elders highlighted in the letter that his schedule visit will cause disunity to the parish which is on the path of rebuilding. The letter further explained the negative impact of V/S/E Balogun leadership which as caused the parish a lot of backwardness; both spiritually & financially; the letter reminded A/S/V/E Adepoju of the present status of the parish as Archdiocese which only the Pastor as the constitutional power to direct them.
The context of the letter shows their strong allegiance to the seat of the Pastor (Rev EMF Oshoffa); the Elders pointed out their communication with the Pastor on the happening in the parish toward the repositioning of the parish; while the letter also warned A/V/S/E Adepoju to avoid any visitation to CCC Metropolitan Parish, without any officially invitation of the parish elders.
Presently; the Elders as promised to work on the reconciliation process; while the Pastor will be advise to patiently analysis the administrative system of the parish; the parish need an experience shepherd with embodiment of holy spirit; fully rooted with administrative knowledge to manage and reunite all parties back to the perfection of God purpose.
