Section 99 (f) of the Celestial Constitution mandates every parish in the Church to organize an Adult Harvest Thanksgiving to express their immense gratitude to God. The Pastor Founder emphasized the importance of the season and provided guidelines for a successful Harvest in the Celestial Church of Christ.
Celestial Church of Christ Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo recently held their 10th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving, which attracted both Celestian and non-Celestian members. The harvest reaffirmed the theme of the harvest, "REHOBOTH." The two-week-long program showcased the manifestation of God during the revival held prior to the harvest. The Parish Shepherd, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Olumide Gangbe, popularly known as "Baba Wonder," created an atmosphere for the events as instructed by a host of angels.
The Parish focused on Christianization and spreading the significance of true Celestial during the harvest period. On the day of the harvest, God performed miracles beyond everyone's imagination. The harvest service began with the full attention of the service conductor, AVSE Femi Ajayi, who flawlessly managed the service. The presence of Most Superior Evangelist J.D Nayoaun maintained the awareness of receiving the blessings of reformation. One of the highlights of the event was the arrival of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke, who expressed his gratitude to the God of Celestial. He showed his sincere love for his Shepherd, Oluso Gnagbe, by presenting him with a brand new Pardon Jeep. Additionally, a senator presented the shepherd with a brand new Sienna Car.
The Governor attended the harvest with his entire household and danced to the melodious rhythms of Evang Abel Dosumu, also known as "Mega 99," who controlled the tempo of the songs throughout the Thanksgiving period. Various Obas (traditional rulers) were also present to grace the occasion. The harvest celebration will be recorded in the history book of CCC Wonderland Model Parish Osogbo, as the Parish continues to represent the symbol of love to the general public, regardless of their religious affiliation.
