The official flag-off of the 50th Anniversary and Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of Celestial Church of Christ will forever be etched in the annals of our Church. The occasion took place at the entrance of the Parish, and it was graced by the presence of Most Superior Evangelist Olutunji Banjo, the Doyen of CCC Worldwide.
In his brief but impactful speech during the flag-off ceremony, M/S/E Banjo epitomized the essence of Celestial Church of Christ. He reaffirmed the Church’s significance on earth and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for M/S/E Nunayon’s tireless efforts in rebuilding and restoring CCC Oke Ado Cathedral, as well as the Celestial Church as a whole.
Amidst the joyous atmosphere, M/S/E Banjo picked the Celestial flag as his preferred choice. With a mischievous grin, he jokingly chided M/S/E Nunayon for not attending the harvest of CCC Agidingbi last year. In a quick retort, M/S/E Nunayon explained that he never received an invitation for the harvest. M/S/E Banjo not to be outdone, confessed that he too wasn’t invited but had to attend.
Continuing his spirited address, M/S/E Banjo shared an anecdote from the harvest saying someone had advised him during his speech at Agidingbi Harvest not to neglect the Church responsibilities. This reminder resonated deeply with him highlighting the importance of staying committed to our spiritual duties.
Moving forward, M/S/E Banjo proudly proclaimed that if Papa Oshoffa himself could declare that his children are his brothers and sisters, while his wives are his elder siblings, and members of the Church are his true offspring, then it is undeniable that his the FIRST CHILD OF PAPA SBJ OSHOFFA PRESENTLY.
M/S/E Banjo recounted the remarkable events that unfolded during the CCC Makoko National Headquarters Harvest, particularly when Prophetess Edith Oshoffa was invited to dance. In that moment, she affectionately referred to M/S/E Nunayon as her brother, while she respectfully addressed him as her father.
With unwavering dedication, M/S/E Banjo vowed to never abandon the Church for any reason, as he proudly stands as the present first son of the Pastor Founder. He emphasized that he will not be the sole individual to inaugurate the Anniversary, as he called upon God, Papa Oshoffa, Baba Bada, Baba Abiassi, and Baba Ajanlekoko. These figures, whom the Pastor Founder himself acknowledged as the pillars of the Celestial Church to join him in the grand flag-off.
The atmosphere was electric with excitement as the flag-off ceremony unfolded. The words of M/S/E Banjo echoed through the hearts of all present, igniting a renewed sense of devotion and dedication to Celestial Church of Christ. This historic event will forever be cherished in the archives of our Church, serving as a testament to our unwavering faith and unity.
