GASPER TENDER RESIGNATION LETTER
In April 1993, Pa Gasper Amosu Dossou penned a letter of resignation directly to Late Rev. Alexander Abiodun Bada expressing his desire to retire due to his old age and be relieved from constant transfers. This marked the first instance of a clergyman formally resigning with the letter being composed by Krabujah, a primary school teacher at Saint. Paul Anglican Pry School Igborosun, to ensure its official nature. Pa Gasper Amosu Dossou then relocated to his residence at Seje Compound Pota Badagry, Lagos.
Later that year, in November 1993, he established his own Parish, CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST JEHOVAH ELYON IGBOROSUN PARISH II, in Badagry, Lagos State. Despite his age, Pa Gasper Amosu Dossou appointed his daughter-in-law, Late Superior Evangelist. Gilberth Sosu, as the presiding Shepherd from 1994 to 2019. Eventually, his only son, SUPERIOR EVANGELIST MIKE OLUWASEGUN AMOSU-GASPER, an Accountant/Brand Consultant/Project Manager, and Chief Executive Officer of Beaulah Treasures International Limited, assumed the role of Shepherd on 7th February 2021. This followed his service in various capacities in other Parishes and ministries, both domestically and Internationally.
His son (Superior Evangelist Mike Oluwasegun Amosu Gasper) was enthroned by Committee of Gbeko Shepherds from the Igborosun District in Ikoga, Badagry Province. The committee was led by V/S/E Prophet .L.D. Pafenoh (MPIC) of CCC Messiah Cathedral, V/S/E Prophet. S.A. Akputu (JP) of CCC Anu Oluwapo Cathedral & V/S/E Jacob Dossou of CCC Agboju 1. The District Head head of Igborosun, A/V/S/E Johnson Agara also played a significant role in this event. This momentous occasion marked the fulfillment of a prophecy given to him by late V/S/E Prophet Michael Mautin Tovide (JP) when he served as the Parish Secretary in year 2011.
PA GASPER VALUE
During his leadership at CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST IRE AKARI ESTATE PARISH in Isolo, Pa Gasper accomplished remarkable feats that cannot be overstated. Countless individuals who worked closely with him can attest to this fact. Notable figures such as V/S/E James Godwin Aso of Celestial Church of Christ Overcomers Parish Lekki/Ajah and late Gabriel Bello, the founding shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ Orelope Central Parish, Lagos can vouch for his exceptional contributions.

PA GASPER JOINED THE SAINT
On the 21st of February, 2004, the sun set on Pa Gasper’s life at his residence in Pota Badagry. He was laid to rest on the 5th of March, 2004. Undoubtedly, he received well-deserved tributes from numerous individuals in both Francophone and Anglophone countries where he had served. Representatives from both the Supreme Headquarters in Porto Novo and the International Headquarters in Ketu were present to pay their respects. Additionally, CCC Ire Akari, Isolo, Lagos, CCC Oluwaseyi Cathedral Ijeshetedo, Lagos, CCC Agege Parish 1, Lagos, CCC Apata Aiyeraiye Isolo, Lagos along with its founding shepherd, the late M/S/E Otenigbagbe, and other Parishes within Badagry and its environ were all represented.
At the commencement of the service, led by the service conductor, Late Superior Evangelist N.O. Akinbulejo, the faithful in attendance were witness to a remarkable occurrence. As the CCC hymn ‘Ka sise fun iwenu mo emi wa’ resonated through the air, the clouds swiftly moved, unveiling a leaden sun. This unexpected and awe-inspiring moment was perceived as a divine sign, a beckoning to the saint’s glorious calling.
Throughout his lifetime, Pa Gasper Amosu Dossou delivered his sermons in a blend of Ogu (Egun) Language and Yoruba, as his fluency in the latter was not as strong. It is through his guidance, along with other anointed men of God. that several Parishes Altar were established, including:
1. CCC St. Samuel Parish Gbeko, Central Republic of Benin
2. CCC Azowlissè, Central Republic of Benin
3. CCC Vakon Parish, Republic of Benin
4. CCC Jerimoyah Oto Parish II, Ijanikin, Lagos
5. CCC Mercland Parish, Ijegun, Lagos
6. CCC Jehovah Elyon Igborosun Parish II, Badagry, Lagos
These parishes stand as a testament to the profound impact and spiritual legacy left by Superior Evangelist Gasper Amosu Dossou. It is important to acknowledge that there exists a significant amount of disconnected and undocumented history regarding our church, which has not been included in the concise history of the CCC Constitution. As Late Pa SBJ Oshoffa clearly stated, the information provided was only a brief overview. Therefore, it should not come as a surprise when previously untold and authentic stories are shared or written by individuals who were fortunate enough to have some knowledge or insight from our revered heroes before their passing.
It is imperative to emphasize that the history of Celestial Church of Christ would be incomplete without recognizing the remarkable achievements of the late SUPERIOR EVANGELIST AMOSU GASPER DOSSOU. He will forever be regarded as a hero within Celestial Church of Christ.
May his soul find eternal peace in the embrace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah.
