In a concise yet profoundly enlightening video obtained by Celestial Prerogative News, the third hierarchy of the Church Most Superior Evangelist DJ Nunayon delivered an informative and insightful explanation regarding the preservation of Pastor Founder Rev SBJ Oshoffa’s Mercedes-Benz car at CCC Rehoboth Cathedral International Oke Ado, Ibadan. The preservation which took place for several years following the unfortunate accident that occurred on the 1st of September 1985 on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as the Pastor Founder was en-route to the harvest of CCC Mokola Parish, Ibadan.
Most Superior Evangelist Nunayon elucidated that after the accident, which transpired in close proximity to Ibadan, four police officers arrived at CCC Oke Ado Ibadan from the Nigeria Police Command Idi-Ayunre, requesting the Church in retrieving the accident car. Their intention was to prevent the car from being sold as scrap, thereby avoiding any distress for the Church.
Without delay, M/S/E Nunayon suggested that the policemen should visit CCC Yemetu Parish Ibadan or the Church Headquarters in Lagos to report the situation. However, the law enforcement officers insisted that they had been instructed to come to CCC Oke Ado, Ibadan. Subsequently, M/S/E Nunayon journeyed to Lagos to meet with Rev AA Bada to officially communicate the Nigeria Police’s demand concerning the Pastor Founder’s accident car.
M/S/E Nunayon says that Rev AA Bada instructed Baba Akinlaja to transport the car to CCC Oke Ado in Ibadan. Despite this, Ml/S/E Nunayon refused taking the car to its intended destination. However, Rev AA Bada stood firm and M/S/E Nunayon quickly apologized for his refusal to comply with the authority’s statement.
M/S)E Nunayon providing further historical context shared that after the burial arrangements, a total of 12 individuals approached him at CCC Oke Ado in Ibadan telling him to keep the car till further notice. Additionally, the Parish took the initiative to construct a house specifically for the car, with late Baba Sowemimo, ( founding member of CCC Oke Ado in Ibadan) playing a significant role in the endeavor.
Unfortunately, after several years, certain individual accused M/S/E Nunayon of utilizing the car for spiritual purposes, which was entirely unfounded. In a surprising turn of events, the same individual who was once a member of the Parish, whom M/S/E Nunayon considered a BETRAYER took responsibility for the removal of the car. This individual arranged for a truck to transport the car from CCC Oke Ado in Ibadan to Imeko.
