The 10th line of Nigeria’s National Anthem reads, “the labours of our heroes past, shall never be in vain.” How profoundly relevant this is for our Armed Forces, as they toil tirelessly to safeguard the territorial integrity of Nigeria, be it on land, in the air, or at sea.
As an active religious organization that has continue to spread the message of God’s salvation throughout the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria with our members serving in both senior and junior military forces, it is our duty to express our gratitude to those individuals who have selflessly served and continue to serve our nation’s military forces such as;
Late Superior Evangelist Colonel Otenigbegbe, the Pioneer Shepherd of CCC Apata Aiyeraye Cathedral in Isolo, who was a remarkable individual who dedicated his life to served both the church and the military.
Similarly, we remember Late S/S/P General Ekundayo Opeleye, a member of CCC Ibara Cathedral in Abekouta and Late Superior Evangelist General Victor Babatope Williams, a member of CCC Ikeja 1 Cathedral in Lagos. These individuals, along with Superior Evangelist Brigadier General Daramola from CCC Strong Tower Cathedral in Ibadan and A/M/S/E Falade, the Head of Remo Area have all contributed significantly to our church and served in various military positions; like S/V/M/S/E Lieutenant Colonel Toriola from CCC Abuja Central Parish, FCT and other Celestian members in the military and pre military forces.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our members in the Nigeria Army Force who have dedicated themselves to protecting our beloved country. Your unwavering commitment and sacrifice are truly commendable. We recognize the immense challenges you face and the risks you undertake to ensure the safety and security of our nation.
On this special day, we Celestial Prerogative News honor the fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the brave men and women who continue to serve with unwavering dedication. Your courage and selflessness inspire us all.
May God bless and protect our military forces and may their efforts never be in vain.
