However, the Parishioners have deemed him unfit and incompetent to lead them in this certain situations.
The Parish continues to advocate for a full-time shepherd, someone with extensive experience and a deep connection to the Holy Spirit. This call stems from the unrest caused by certain members, including external forces who are working against the principles of God in a Parish that has thrived for over 48 years.
In a similar vein, members of CCC Metropolitan Archdiocese Parish USA are demanding a public explanation from Sup. Evang. Pius Adebowale, Sup. Evang. Adewale Ayo Olodun, Sup. Evang. Philip Bello, Spe. Sup. Evang. David Adelaja Hassan, M/C Titilayo Olugbuyi, M/C Victoria Fakilede and M/C Olufunke Bajulaiye regarding the unauthorized withdrawal of $2,000 from the Parish account. The withdrawal was made without informing the Parishioners and was used to pay a legal fee to Most Sup. Evang. Tokunbo Shomide who is also a Shepherd of CCC Divine Parish, New Castle, Delaware, USA.
A letter dated January 18, 2024, obtained by Celestial Prerogative News, explains that Celestial Church of Christ, Washington Metropolitan Arch-Diocese USA is not involved in any legal disputes with individuals, groups or organizations. However, there are ongoing court cases involving certain members of the Parish.
The members of CCC Metropolitan Archdiocese Parish USA are seeking a clear and transparent explanation from the individuals mentioned above regarding the unauthorized withdrawal of funds. They believe it is essential to understand why Parish money was used to pay a legal fee when the Parish itself is not involved in any legal proceedings.
The letter provides specific details of the transaction, including check number 2888 dated June 6, 2023, which was issued in the amount of $2,000.00 (Two Thousand Dollars) to Most Superior Evangelist Tokunbo Shomide for a court case.
The letter also indicates that the issue at hand involves a dispute between the Parochial Committee and the Elders’ Council, specifically regarding the Elders’ Council’s encroachment upon the administrative functions of the Parochial Committee. Another case was initiated by Special Superior Evangelist David Adelaja Hassan against Ven. Sup. Evang. Olaitan Balogun and others. Evangelist Hassan is seeking, among other things, a court declaration that he should be recognized as the Leader-in-Charge of the Metro Arch-Diocese, despite his termination by the Pastor and Head of Celestial Church of Christ, Worldwide, as stated in a letter dated December 27th, 2022, with reference number CCC/WHQ/EMF/PO/TMN-01/12-22.

Additionally, it has come to light that V/S/E Ogun has not been attending worship services at CCC Metropolitan Archdiocese Parish USA for the past two weeks, as evidenced by his rejection.
