Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa’s absence was keenly felt during the service, as she had always been a dedicated presence at the Good Friday gatherings in Makoko. Most Superior Evangelist Nunayon highlighted her unwavering commitment to the church and her efforts to resolve internal conflicts, despite facing resistance from certain selfish elders.
It Is clear that Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa’s legacy will be difficult to replace, as her presence was instrumental in fostering unity within the church. Her absence serves as a reminder of the importance of selflessness and dedication in the face of internal strife.
It is remembered that during the previous Good Friday Service in 2023, Late Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa intervened in a dramatic manner when the youth of CCC Makoko prevented the Pastor from entering the Mercyland. The youth also blocked the car of MSE Nauyoun from leaving the Mercyland in an attempt to resolve the misunderstanding.
Following a powerful sermon delivered by the third hierarchy, MSE Nauyoun, MSE Banjo, AVSE Ogunremi, Sup/Evang Shonekan and others departed from the National Headquarters in Makoko, Lagos immediately after the sermon.
